Power of Thor Megaways under the hood, straight from the game sheet

The published return of 96.55 percent is an average taken over more rounds than any one player will ever see. It tells you the size of the house edge and nothing about the order in which wins and losses arrive; short sessions routinely land nowhere near it. For the authoritative figure, open the official game sheet from inside the game — it is the binding source, and it reflects the exact build the operator has licensed, which can differ from the default.

These are the mechanics the provider documents for this game — what each one does, without the marketing gloss.

• Each win clears its symbols from the grid and the refill can form fresh wins, repeating until a drop adds nothing new.
• Each spin draws a different reel configuration, varying how many ways the board can pay that round.
• Wins are counted by ways — matching symbols on adjacent reels — rather than along fixed lines.
• Landing enough scatters triggers a free-spins round, where the game plays on without further stakes.
• Multiplier symbols scale the wins they touch, which concentrates the game's returns into fewer, heavier moments.
• Wilds substitute for other symbols, patching near-wins into wins as the paytable allows.

Power of Thor Megaways ships with a demo mode, and it is the honest place to start: same rules, same odds, no stake. Use it to see how often the interesting moments actually arrive, because that frequency is the real price of admission. When real money enters, the game does not get friendlier — so fix a spending limit first and stop when you reach it, not when the game feels due.
