About
What Monteclar is and who publishes it
Monteclar publishes informational guides about online casinos: how the games work, what a bonus's small print actually requires, and what the law allows in each market. It also reviews operators and compares them, and the links to those operators are labelled partner links that earn the site a share of revenue, and the terms of those programs affect the order of a comparison. Every figure is cited to the source that published it.

Who publishes it
The site is edited by the Monteclar editorial desk, an independent editorial team. Guides carry no personal byline: each page is the result of a process — gather sources, cite every figure, review before publishing — rather than the judgement of one person whose authority you would have to take on trust. What you can check is on the page itself: the source link behind every figure and the date it was verified.
You can write to us at any time: contact@monteclar.com. Corrections are handled before anything else.
What the site publishes
- Game mechanics — RTP, volatility, house edge, how a random number generator decides an outcome and who certifies it.
- Bonus mathematics — what a wagering requirement actually demands, what a free spin is worth, and which terms hollow out a promotion from the inside.
- Regulation by market — what is permitted, who licenses it, which taxes apply and what a player risks outside that framework.
- Responsible gambling — warning signs, limit and self-exclusion tools, and where to ask for help.
What it does not do
No operator pays to have a review written or taken down. The order of a comparison is commercial: partners whose terms are weaker for us sit lower. What the site does do — review operators, compare them, and carry labelled partner links that pay it a share of revenue — is set out plainly on how the site is funded, including the fact that the operators reviewed here come from the partner programs the site works with: an operator it has no agreement with gets no review at all.
It is also not legal, financial or tax advice. Pages about legislation describe what the cited rules say, with their source; a decision that depends on that needs a professional, not a guide.
Errors and corrections
A figure that no longer matches its source is an error, not an opinion, and it is corrected against the source. If you find one, write via the contact page with a link to the page and, if you have it, to the source that contradicts it. The full process is in the methodology.
Who it is for
The content is for adults 18 and over. Gambling carries a real risk of financial loss, and no guide on this site offers a way to win: the house's mathematical edge is structural, and it is explained in detail precisely because knowing it changes how everything else reads.
